I have a terrible confession to make...

I've been hanging out on MySpace. There. I said it. It can't offer me all the wonderful things that the Suicide Girls do, but it does allow me access to more people.

I'm sorry if anyone feels betrayed, but all my friends were doing it! The pressure was enormous!

I haven't abandoned SG by any means, but...

I don't mean to be antisocial everybody. I've been scarce for a week due to school and work. It all gets so much easier in 6 weeks. Its very circumstancial. Don't think that I don't love you all!

Later tater.
northstar:
mmm... tasty taters.

thanks for the kind words. i started my job that day and had a hectic, overwhelming day. i was doubting myself hardcore. its getting better though.

are you done in 6 weeks??

Everyone needs to do themselves a favor and watch "Hotel Rwanda". Witness how the international community turns a blind eye to those countries who have no resources to offer. When the oil kingdom of Kuwait was invaded the world rushed to its aid. In Serbia, Milosevic stood in the the way of pipeline construction to supply Europe with oil from the East, so he was...

haha i like that.. softcore culinary porn. i just need to be seductively licking a big knife or something.

i think i passed my test but with my luck now that i've said it... i won't. but whatever. i got the shock of my life today when i was told at orientation that they were drawing bloodwork for our "health assessments". but apparently they just check immunization status and not drug testing. i'd be pretty screwed if they did. i haven't really heard of any hospitals doing drug testing. i think they're all aware that a) canadians are all hippies at heart and b) nurses like to party.

mental note to self: go to yoga.

seriously its hot as balls here. i was up at 6 this morning and the weathernetwork said it was 23 degrees but feels like 31. i'd give my exboyfriends left testicle for some icy tundra action right now. jeeebus.

i just realized that 31 degrees probably means nothing to you. stupid conversions.....
northstar:
blast! you got me.

im impressed.

however... 16 is much too warm for a hoodie. its nice comfy tshirt weather. sweet jebus i wish it was 16 right now...

I am "Sleepless in Terre Haute."

The short of working night shifts on the weekend and school during the week means that I am never tired when I need to sleep and I can't be sleeping when I'm tired.

I have now achieved the "Addict" title on my Launchcast! A little trivial milestone to pat myself on the back with. It can never play enough...

no gift, just some treats and I'd like to take him outside to play, but he's seriously mad at me. He wont' come near me right now, and he's usually a big ball of love when I get home from work. I don't like this frown

And he loves his name, he's She-Ra the Wondercat biggrin
pigletx69:

My insomnia will be the death of me.

I have my pediatric clinical to attend in 3 and 1/2 hours. The conversion from coming off the night shift Sunday morning to waking up rested Monday morning is a fine art I doubt I shall master before summer's end. But hey, I bargained for it.

I joyfully contributed to the $16+ million midnight Star Wars opener...

Thanks for the sweet comment on my set, it made my day.
northstar:
Somehow I doubt my frisbee technique will be tested. I wish though. The Canadian exam from what I hear is more general than the NCLEX. It's testing "what a reasonable graduating nursing student should know". It has a bunch of multiple choice and this year they're adding short answers to it. I'll let you know how it goes. Apparently no one failed from the last class who wrote it. So I like the sounds of that. When do you write the NCLEX?

Sugar Daddy - your in. But I don't know about the Carpenters songs.

Oh its late. I've just returned home from an impromptu night out with my dear friends Marie and Vijay. I enjoy few things more than closing down a bar with hours of intimate conversation. I have about five hours to sleep before I ride my bike to school tomorrow. Its about ten miles over very uneven terrain, and it will be so worth it.

I'm...

I must boast that I make a damn fine salsa. Luckily the greens in my garden were ready to be thinned, and it made for just enough to add in. I insist that good salsa has plenty of greens and isn't dominated by the tomato.

And my potatoes have been sprouting! They actually break the ground above them a few days before they appear. I...

hi! welcome. im glad you liked my emu. i dated this guy in high school who's family farmed emus. i went over for dinner once and was like... you want me to eat that? no thanks. its my little tribute to all the fallen emus.

fresh salsa is so good. i could eat nothing but that and fresh guacamole all summer. i can't wait to put in a garden here.

haha you're reading wong. i should be reading that too. i have my licensing exam in exactly 27 days. are you still in school? how do you like it?

northstar:
its awesome that you're almost done. i never actually got a real peds placement. i was one of 10 people in my class who got the shaft. oh well.

i did my big final practicum in ICU and i fuckin loved it. its where i want to work but the unit i want might not hire until september so im stuck kicking around orthopedic surgery for a bit. its all good though. its a job and experience.

Ahh... insomnia. I am a true night-shifter. I finished Culture jam by Kalle Lasn last week. Its a great read for examining our media culture. It made me furious over my own passivity. We really do become numb over time to the onslaught of images that anesthetize our motivation and subvert our sense of priority.

I must constantly ask myself what is truly important.

the top picture is of Seda. he he he. totally different ass. she just got archived, which means she left the site, and when a girl leaves usually the staff posts her last set... post mortem i guess.

i was kinda surprised to see that she had done a pic in that position because my version, which came out about five months ago, was actually pretty popular on this site. i wonder if she was paying tribute, or she didn't know i had already done that.

now i'll never know!

just funny to me.

Finding Nemo and Love Acutally are outstanding films!
