Did my civic duty. Yup! Voted today. Exercised my Constitutional prerogative I did!

And now we wait! I wonder what tomorrow will bring. At least we'll know what we're dealing with for the next four years. Maybe that will be enough to kick things back into gear. The cessation of uncertainty!

So . . . I always have this long to-do list . . . I have finally completed one of the items . . . I emptied out the shed . . . cleaned it . . . and built shelves across the back and up one side.

Put everything back . . . . Holy Crap! So much better!

On to the next thing.

Part of me wanted to be done with this phase of my life. Another part wanted to chase the "still got it" feeling. SG has been an interesting part of my life. I realized that most of my best friends are old school SG's. So I decided to make a comeback. We shall see if it's fruitful. smile

Status quo at the moment . . . . working hard . . trying to make a buck. Just like everybody else, huh?

The special contact is helping my injured eye . . . not great . . but better. Still hopeful!

Maybe things will improve, once we get this election behind us.

Well . . . . my first speeding ticket here in South Carolina went well. (I've only been here 3 months)

I got it reduced from $185 to $130 . . . . and no points on my license!

And . . . . no, they can't install signs that say reduced speed ahead!

Well, it's still early November, teeecchhnically -- so I always get really giddy at the First Signs -- I even took pictures on November 1st, of the candy aisle in the grocery store being transformed. Somewhat giddy, somewhat disbelieving. The lights don't get turned on yet, but as soon as they do I'm sure I'll be squealing & bouncing around.

Same with at work -- there will be many pictures. We put stockings up, Christmas trees and lights -- it's a very warm feeling. I'm very excited. :]]]

The psych eval is required, and sometimes they withhold treatment .. or make it very difficult for me. Like when I go in for meds, instead of letting me have them, they'll make me sit in a waiting room for six hours and wait for the evaluation first .. THEN give me the meds. I'm treading on thin ice. It's part of going through a very public .. service .. kind of place. I don't know what I'm trying to say. Kind of a clinic that works with a hospital, in the city. Restriction, restriction.

And yes -- that's exactly what I felt like. I fully expected someone to flick a paper football at my head. ;]

Oh, and that's sweet about the pit. I've been trying to explain to my ex that they are sweet and affectionate, .. but he doesn't want to get near one. Why? "Because I'd expect it to rip my face off." Except when we were little, it was rots & dobermans.. It's all just the trend in what we want to train for the effect. But yes -- I love this face. :]]]

I travel with my car at the moment, And there is so mush junk in it now. So a housecar with a bed, so it would be like a small home would be nice. Just to have something to know as my own space... Its not like i wish to become the worlds best white-trash tongue . There will be mush time on the road this Autumn.
