To me, the word somber is not bad. For me it is a description of being when you are neither happy nor sad, but not content. A feeling of realist anticipation. Not cynical, but not optimistic. Perhaps the way you feel when you look back at decisions made in your life where you wonder what would've happened if you turned left instead of right. Not what could have been, but what else did the god evolution have in store for me. Perhaps i need to see what Webster says it means. Incorrect is probably my use of the word. Nevertheless, when I think of it, beautiful music generally is my partner...
