and today marks my first venture into the private sector as i will be tutoring the children of a friend

as of Sunday the 27th (last Sunday) I have been full time self employed for a year. this really is quite a mile stone for me but what was really surprising was how quickly it crept up.
This month i did my self assessment for my taxes which was far less traumatic that i thought it would be, i just hope i did it right...

I have submitted my first painting of the year, a tribute to Scottish singer-songwriter, political activist and philanthropist Annie Lennox into a competition.
Among over thing the top prize is an honorary title of Lord! yes i could be Lord Barry Neeson!! like Lord Vader only shorter....and with out the ability to choke you with my mind.

Thanks! I do wish I could just quit and work on more creative endeavours, but alas I need the money. Though I have spotted a couple of interesting job adverts I'm going to go for.
