It started raining today. I can hear it falling outside. But my feet are wet because my shoes have holes in them.
So I've been listening to a lot of NIN again, and playing Pokemon Diamond. I finally got my medication filled. It's a controlled drug so you need to be diagnosed by two psychiatrists and it's damned hard to get an appointment.
On thursday CJM and I went out, and although it was a bit quieter than usual it was quite a fun evening. Memorable, because of some random chicks that took a liking to us, and because of some other chick that gave me her number (but who I shall not be calling). We're only there to dance dammit!
Went out again tonight, and I just got back. My body is tired from dancing but my mind is still active. Music was a little disappointing at first, but it improved at around 12, and was good right up until we left. The place died around 3:30 so we took that as our cue to head off.
I saw some chick there that I was -sure- I had seen before, but just couldn't pick where. And she kept looking at me which just made me even more curious. Meh.
I had a slice of pizza as we wandered past a couple of other spots to see if anything else was still alive. Then I got some more tobacco and we drove home with a quite enjoyable detour.
Alas, my partner in crime is probably taking a hiatus for next week, so I guess I have to decide whether I wanna brave the unclean masses on my own.
Oh yeah, on my lunch break on Tuesday I went into a tattoo parlour and had a look at their designs... they had something that was -almost- what I wanted, but it was the wrong shape. But they said they can draw me up a new design as per my specs, so I just have to get my pennies together. Will take 2 hours for outlining, then 2 or 3 more sessions for fill.
It's a celtic style dragon (yeah yeah, celtic patterns, I know), interwoven with itself. I will put it on my shoulder blade.
They had the thorns I want for my arms but for some reason I feel like I should start with my back.
Trouble is... well, the cost. I'll really have to save my pennies for this, it's probably gonna be $250 for the first session and I guess the same for the next ones. I have my job but 1 day a week just puts me into the "able to eat" class of poverty. And I am supposed to try and get my motorbike license for which I first need to get my learner's permit, which will total ~$400 all up ($242 for the motorbike license, $150 for the learner's permit). I don't have that much right now.
Wednesday was a public holiday. Had a quiet one, a few beers with some friends and a few games of Munchkin. We had started picnicing but it got kinda cold so we went home around 2pm.
I need a hobby. I am thinking that VJing would be kind of fun. I have to look into it.
The idea of coding up visualisations mid-show just oozes fun to me.
