Sounds like a full weekend any way.
Yeah, I always enjoy the FT-subs shows.
A few months ago they played here and this production group I work with sometimes makes a DVD magazine of bands sometimes, so we taped them for it.
I think they taped them another time as well for some more footage but I was on another gig in Oklahoma at the time.
Anyway, stay in touch.

1. my buddy's in Dallas sent me a link to texasrollergirls.com just the other day, and I was just checking out some pics right before I logged in to SG tonight. I see a few from the aptly named Satan's Cheerleaders right before I check out my latest comments, including your austin greeting...Trippy...
2. The same friends in Austin just sent me pics from our debauchery during SXSW this year. Checked those out prior to turning on the computer ....another austin coincidence....
3. Earlier today, Im listening to Sons of Hercules, one of my favorite bands from Austin of days gone by...hrmmmm....
4. While watching the Flyers lose to Tamba Bay an hour ago, I debated heading BACK to austin/dallas in two weeks since I'll have a week off from work unexpectedly. Thinking that some gigs, texas friends, and a Burger at the El Camino will do me some good....
5. Missing the Supersuckers AT THIS VERY MOMENT cause I'm drunk as a skunk and can't make it downtown. OK, maybe not an Austin band, but they play there alot.

I don't really get out too much, because of the kids, but I do know there's tons of good bars in Hollywood. My favorite strip club is Crazy Girls on La Brea and Sunset in Hollywood, they have some really cute punk rock girls. The LA Weekly has all the shows listed, big and small. You can pick one up at any news stand.
You could also check the events to see if there's any SG stuff going on.
