I've been working in the health field for about 5 years now. I started working in a mental health facility in 2003, leaving in 2006 to work w/ the developmentally disabled @ a state hospital. All the while, I decided I'd go through nursing school...I mean, doing a job you love is one thing...doing it and getting paid well for it is just an added bonus.
So fast forward to a year and a half after graduation and I finally decided to take my nursing exam. As of yesterday, I'm officially a Licensed Psych Tech

"The little blue card...never leave home without it!"
Now, it's back to school to get my RN license
