Heh. Was on myspace, checking the "Friends" list of one of my co-patriots and I see someone named Queen V who looks a bit familiar. Well, after checking out her website (she's a ROCK GODDESS!!), I figure out that she's the lead singer of an old band named "Tabula Rasa" from the old Teeth highdays. In fact, she actually wound up pinching the first Teeth...

Things continue to roll onward - I have booked a local studio in Red Bank in June to track the next Teeth album. In the meantime, Beel continues to mix the X album, of which I'm very juiced about.

So I've been spending my time with the Bells of Orchid lyrics (16 songs) which I'm arranging and preparing for the sesions. The engineer for the...

I'm investigating a 1000 CD run of my next two projects (X the Unknown and Celsius), and thinking of self-publishing my book of poems again. Back on the horse.

Progress is slow in the world of corporate molasses, but progress indeed is being made. One millimeter at a time.

Hey, thank you kindly. I sort of feel that the artist(-s) should be paid, mind. We'll think about it in the autumn, hm?

Either way, I'm glad things are going forward for you.

Hey Juicypants,

In summary,
1) Go ahead and get started on mixing 9 of the tracks : White Chocolate, House, Elizabeth Taylor, Kamakaze Girl, Belly of the Crab, Archeologist, Moons, Pink Lemonade, and X the Unknown.

2) Rehearse your possibilities to the opening of Masterson the Bat.

3) Set up next studio session where Ill do vocals for Talia, Live Minnows (and maybe Masterson the...

Well last week was my rock bottom as far as my art is concerned. All the other aspects of my life are going well (except maybe my career which is going nowhere). I really thought about throwing in the towel for a while anyhow. Veronica was much help as an ear to chew on.

Then Bill (Hair Boy) calls me and lets me know the...

I see enough rats to be fairly sure this wasn't one - though the light was bad, as I say. I should go back, stake the place out around twilight tomorrow; though I may get asked pointy qs by the local cops, I suppose.

Glad things are going better smile

I got very frustrated and grumpy last night.

I was trying to set a date where I and three of my musical collaborators could get together to lay down some tracks (songs that we wrote many years ago). Project called Bells of Orchids. Anyhow, with our families, jobs, adult crap, we found that only two weekends in the next 6 months are possibilities. And one...

It's difficult to find time for stuff. Especially in North America, I guess - you seem to have tiny amounts of time off work, over there.

I think you should be looking to do new work with new collaborators, and keep the Bells stuff till you can get together with those people. If you stop working on your art, you'll regret it, IMHO.

nooo...don't throw in the towel!

I wish I was a bit closer, I'd work for free..don't let that get around though smile

Who's Counting??
Current mood: Crampy

I took 5 craps today.

My pants are too tight. Gotta lay off the sugars. Flossing is also a neglected task.

I played catch with Hitchcock (my dog) 4 times today. He slobbered a lot.

Worked somewhat on Teeth lyrics for Bells of Orchids and on mixing lists for X the Unknown. Hair Boy drove down to meet Quentin today....

Drew part of a comic the other day, otherwise, just been buried in diapers, spit-up, spreadsheets, statistics and corporate flotsam.
xxanastasiaxx:
aahhh..yes, I remember the diapers and spit up days! I thought it would never end, now I wonder where those days went!

I don't miss the tripping over and stepping on (barefoot no less) of toys though.

Sounds familiar. It does start to get better, slowly wink

Wrote some lyrics for BELLS OF ORCHIDS today, but mainly farted around looking for new music online and changed several poopie diapers for my son!

Typical male, but I must say it's extremely satisfying to scratch an itch between my scrotum and inner thigh, right on the edge of my crotch.

Ladies, if you notice your man with his hands down his pants, he may just be scratching an itch...
