Well last week was my rock bottom as far as my art is concerned. All the other aspects of my life are going well (except maybe my career which is going nowhere). I really thought about throwing in the towel for a while anyhow. Veronica was much help as an ear to chew on.
Then Bill (Hair Boy) calls me and lets me know the studio is free so on Sunday I drove up to Hoboken and we went into NY Junkroom and worked on the Teeth (X) album.
Ahhhhhh, it was wonderful to work on a project again, and a wonderful project, too. Its going to take at least a couple more sessions to mix, but its coming along well.
Then the Commodore arises out of his Skeleton Island and contacts me, ready to return to the human race. Feeling like April is back on track.
Side note, this guy who works for a partner/vendor that my company deals with REALLY irritated me today. In fact, Im pissed off that its pissing me off. I should be able to just ignore this egotistical fucka, but had a rather confrontational phone conf call that really wrinkled my hair.
Alas, tomorrow is a new day

I see enough rats to be fairly sure this wasn't one - though the light was bad, as I say. I should go back, stake the place out around twilight tomorrow; though I may get asked pointy qs by the local cops, I suppose.
Glad things are going better
