Hmm... had quite an interesting weekend.
So, on Friday I went to Underground. I was kind of skeptical of the night since they were doing the club-merge thing again. It wasn't so bad. I did get so see some friends that I hadn't seen in a while. But spent most of the time outside on the smoking patio talking with people because that was pretty much where the normal Underground music ended up... it's pretty much where it always ends up on those nights.
Saturday, I went to a local restaurant to meet up with a couple of co-workers and one of their friends for "lunch". I say it like that because we met up at like 3:30pm and we mostly went there because the place offers bottomless mamosas for $14. Now I'm not really a mamosa drinking but even I couldn't pass up on that deal. They had some other people they met at a bar show up... I think I was being hit on by one of them. But I'm really not sure because we really did have a lot to drink. We were there for like 6 hours. Then we walked over to the place where these new people were staying for more drinks. Had a couple of beers and then one of my co-workers started freaking out a bit. Not quite sure what was wrong as I've only known her for about a month. But something was definitely bothering her. So we calmed her down and headed for home. I let her friend take her back and I decided to walk home. Turns out it was a bit of a longer walk than I thought... so 1/2 hour later I finally got home... somewhere around midight or so. Since it was still early for me, I logged into chat and hung out online for a few hours.
Sunday, I woke up with a bit of a hangover. But I wanted to go see Watchmen again, so I shook it off and went out. Afterwards I came back, slept for most of the day, watched the series finale for Battlestar Galactica, and played around online.
That was pretty much the extent of my weekend. Work was a bit of a pain because I have a lot to do but I need the boss' assistance to get it done. Trouble is, I can't seem to get her to sit her ass down and work on it. So frustrating. Well, if there are any complaint calls I'll pass them onto her and she can explain why it isn't done.
