The Twitter Thing
I'm trying out Twitter. Just mistakenly replied to Amber Benson instead of direct sending. She was kind enough to direct send me a "thank you for following me" message.
I've lost and gained a random follower in the last day and for whatever reason Britney Spears decided to reciprocate my follow. Hot. I'm also following other people like Neil Gaiman, the cast of Attack of the Show as well as Around the Horn and PTI (both of which may be Tony Reali) and the few people I know on Twitter.
All of this is because of the pink phone (a Samsung blackjack 2 - if you do an image search they do come with those circles painted on) and an unlimited data plan. It's slowly becoming the everything phone and I may ditch the work bb though I don't necessarily want to sync all my work outlook contacts in with my personal contacts.
If I tweet "a new blog is up at all the usual places" those places are Kirst Graphics, MySpace, Facebook and Suicide Girls and have been for the past 3 years. Well Facebook only for the last year because that's how long I've been Facebooking.
The Sleep of Reason
Going to bed at 9:00PM Monday to wake up at 3:30AM Tuesday and then staying up 'til 4:30AM Friday still has my sleeping schedule off. Next week seems pretty normal.
{Edit: I did go to bed Tuesday and Wednesday nights.}
Not to MySpace
In my blog "How Very" (it's 3 back) I mention my Facebook argument with Pat over lyrics to Kiss' King of the Night Time World which has apparently caused him to drop MySpace. Okay - though dropping MySpace because of a Facebook argument doesn't make that much sense.
My sister has joined the electronic age and has decided to Facebook.
Who Watches the Watchmen?
Thursday night Pat and Dal from Challengers had a Watch the Watchmen thingy where they rented out a balcony at the nice, new Muvico 18 in Rosemont. Except they didn't get to watch the movie! They had only a limited number of seats and 2 crashers showed up. The problem is if they go over the number of seats it brings them to the next tier (I'm guessing we had 40-50 so next step 60-80 range) and group rental is of course per seat, not per person. So that was sucky for them and those customers need to buy lotsa stuff at the store.
