For some reason I started thinking about some video tapes we used to have around the house when I was a kid of a Czech animator named Jan Svankmajer. After checking with my folks on the name, I found some videos on youtube, and yes, they're still really freakin awesome. The perfect way to start your work week. Enjoy!
His two newer films (one is actually rather new... the other is just newer than Alice) may not be on US DVD, but you can sure as hell get em online, if you're going to go that far. I'm sure of it because I'm a movie pirating junkie, and you can get everything online, especially clever stop-go animation flicks with cult followings. Both of them have much more live action acting in them, which could make them less- or more- disturbing, depending on how far between healthy and completely broken your own frame of reference really is.

You know, every time I ask that question of myself, I always up the amount in my fantasy as I start realizing that all the things I want to do cost more than 10K.
But yeah, I'd probably put it all into my studio and a nice LCD projector so I could have friends over to play vids on a ridiculously ginormous huge screen.

Wednesday night was amazing, a friend just moved to the hood and we spent the night getting way too hammered. Very little sleep.
