I've now washed the bitter taste of a 3-0 defeat out of my mouth with the misery of a Ukraine's 4-0 loss to Spain, and now Serbia & Montenegro's 6-0 collapse under the gorgeous Argentine attack.

Tomorrow, the US plays Italy and absolutely must win to stay in the tournament. I think it can be done, but we'll see. I'd setle for seeing some fighting spirit from the guys, even if we don't go through.
Honestly, I'm rooting more strongly for teams whose countries we'll be visiting over my own home.
As a KU basketball fan, dissapointment after high expectations is like a second skin, so i think we'll survive.
