oh le sigh.

looking over the photo album from what i'm pretty sure is SG Calgary Canada Day from 2004. oh the memories. mostly the memories of spinning the bottle with some damn fine ladies.



i miss those days sometimes. well, most times, actually. summers that felt like they were full of possibilities of futures you'd never imagined before. futures involving dropping everything and moving across the country just for shits and giggles- of building cardboard offices and eating ramen noodles like they were the most delicious thing you'd ever encountered.

it's not so much that i regret what my life has become - just that i know that the girl that i was back then would.

but tonight: more vanilla rum and rare meat.

sigh. i try to be environmentally conscious, but i'm such a carnivore. so deliciously visceral.


addendum: i am writing this update on FreakPirate's computer. which used to be my computer before i left it in glass_cat's basement. oh, the circle of life. i always imagined antelope should be involved more than electronic equipment.
