I received some bad news the other day. Seems that my grandmothers leukemia is no longer resonding to the chemo. Besides the fact that the chemo is making her sicker than crap. She was in the hospital for a week because it gave her ulcers in her stomach and then to make it worse after performing every test imaginable they could not find out what was wrong. Not sure how they discovered it was ulcers. Fucker's!!!!
So it looks like she may not have much time left and it makes me very very sad to know I will be losing her soon. I am trying to spend as much time as possible with her but it is very difficult because if anyone of us is sick then we cannot go around her.
I lost my grandfather 17 years ago and it still feels like yesterday sometimes. I have always been their favorite even though it does not seem right to say that but they always treated me very special. I have wonderful memories of being a child and staying with them. So now it seems that soon that may be all I have left.
Sorry for the dwner but I just had to get it out somewhere.

So you live far from your grandmother?
Nothing in the world like grandparents - golden they are. I'm sorry to hear this news of yours, and I hope some good comes to her before the end.
How are things today?
