I do love my life. I've been reflecting on the past year or so that I've spent in California. I cannot help but be grateful for all the wonderful friends I've made, the adventures I've experienced, and the goals I've accomplished.
My landlord just rented out the apartment upstairs from me for about 80% more than what I'm paying for my place. One showing, three people applied. That's a huge change from the market I was in last year. That means I've planned to settle in for another year or two in my spot. I'm expecting good things financially soon, but I think I'll just use the extra funds to pad my nest egg rather than jump into a new apartment. This one still has some untapped potential in it.
Now to call my girls who are good at interior decorating.
