So the weekend I posted about last time ended up with my wife making a new friend, and a good friend of ours coming to terms with some shit he's been keeping in for over a year and finally getting it all out to the important people in his life what has really been going on. My wife was sick that whole weekend, but she was ok for things like the rave, some drinking, and utterly cock blocking my friend. Which was SO awesome to witness. She's a freakin master .My good friend's fiance doesn't like me and my wife right now very much, but you'd think she'd thank us for helping him come to the decision to be honest with her, but whatever.
Spent the rest of that week slowly getting sick while starting my management training at work. Both of these things are very frustrating. I only rarely get sick anymore so this is horrible, especially for the fact that I'm still sick a week later. I can NOT get rid of this crick in my neck either. It seriously hurts to stand up and sit down because of the inertia of my head pulling at my neck.
Management training sucks because a) its a lot of shit I already know and b) my "mentor" is lazy, and I hate how much time we sit around doing a lot of nothing. Drives me nuts.
Went to Jax this last weekend and got to finally meet Paine but I'll be damned if me and the wife weren't both sick and she wasn't at first waiting for her painkillers to kick in and then feelin the effects of them. Plus we were all on a tight schedule. Hopefully we can do it again, next time without being a rather pathetic group. She is a ton of fun though, regardless of all that...and shorter than I thought she'd be.
I also got to see my best friend(the other guy in my profile pic) for his birthday party Friday night. Went out to Dave & Busters and spent way too much money, but had a blast. The rest of that trip sucked, with me managing to piss off my entire family and myself being bored at her parent's house for quite awhile. We also had to come back early because Becka had a memorial service to attend to here in Tally Saturday afternoon. All in all, its been really exciting.
Don't take this the wrong way, but one thing I'm looking forward to is from the 18th-25th I'm going to be living like a bachelor. It will probably kick ass the first couple of days and then get REALLY lonely. Anyone up for a road trip to come hang out?

I had a good time meeting you and your lovely wife. We must do that again soon!
