THE FEEL OF RAIN
The feel of rain
Is the feel of love:
Wet, and soft
Snug as a glove
The sound of rain
Is the sound of your voice:
Warm, full of fire
Flooding me in desire
The sound of rain
Is the sound of your voice:
Insistent, persistent
Always hoping
The sound of rain
Is the sound of your voice:
Far away, very near
It's always here
The sound of rain
Is the sound of love:
Insistent, persistent
It's always calling
The sound of rain
Is the sound of loneliness:
Wet, soft, and frightening
The smell of rain
Is the smell of love:
Like wet leaves
Like fresh blood
Like the space between your knees
The sound of rain
Is the sound of your voice:
Wet, soft
Always hoping
Always calling
Warm and full of fire
Flooding me in desire
The feel of rain
Is the feel of you:
Like wet leaves
Like fresh blood
Like a warm flood
In the space between your knees
The need of rain
Is the need of you;
A matter of life
A matter of death.
The sound of rain
Is the sound of your voice
Warm, full of fire
Flooding me in desire
The feel of rain
Is the feel of you:
Wet, and soft
Snug as a glove
