So yes. Last night fucking rocked. Also, I despise the people who work in my building.
SO a few days ago, I promised an update the next day. That, obviously, did not happen. This is because I am lazy, and also because not much actually happened that would merit an update. Now that things have had more time to happen, I shall discuss them.
I had an awesome scene Tuesday that could easily have turned out really bad. Which was a relief, since it was a semester-long project and my Script Analysis grade was dependant on it. For the drama-literate among you, I did the third act of Oleanna by David Mamet. And now I never have to think about it again. Bliss.
Which is not to say I don't love David Mamet. Oh, for those of you who are interested in such things, I saw the first dress rehearsal of Glen Gary Glenn Ross on Broadway (For free. There are advantages to going to the acting school Mamet founded.). It was shaping up nicely, and the set is mind boggling. See it if you've got the time, the cash, and the inclination.
Today, I got up bright'n'early to go to STRIKE CREW! YAAAAY! Which mostly involved returning props to the prop room, which involves loading them in a van and going across town and bringing them up and down several flights of stairs. Then we picked up some props for the next show, and I painted a bunch of them. Today, I actually saw a red door and I GOT TO PAINT IT BLACK. Well, parts of it anyway.
