a night in the life:
so I had the shittiest day at work so when I get home I nap and then I was in the bathroom with my ipod dancing around and lipsynching to jack off jill and my boyfriend walked in on this and started cracking up. Somehow even after living together over a year he had managed not to witness one of these episodes. So I say... "I had a bad day" and he says "I know, let's go to candy cane lane" for you non-LA people (lucky bastards) Candy Cane Lane and it's neighboring streets Bell Lane and Candle Light Lane are a neighborhood that decks their houses the fuck out for christmas like woah. So we made chocolate chip cookies to bring and went. Then all that was left was to pick the music.
Ryan: I don't want to listen to crazy angry punk girl music or like, the decemberists....
Emily: I wasnt going to play those....
Ryan: Just making sure...
Emily: well... what DO you want to listen to?
Ryan: I dunno... like.... Bilie Holliday.....
