Welp, I have purple hair now. Not the best results but that is what happens when you use a dye that you've never used before. . . At least my hair doesn't look nasty like it has for most of the summer . . . ah the wonders of neglect that my physical apperance gets occasionally due to this thing known as graduate school.
Classes start tomorrow ~ I'm totally not in the mood for 2 more semesters of classes. I guess I want a fastforward button for somethings but perhaps I should just get better at attempting to live in the now vs my 'must get the hell out of indiana' attitude.
Finished "cradle to cradle" which I literally ganked from the desk of phytopsychotica. I was eating lunch and just started reading the book while eating, took it home, finished it today and threw it back on his desk. An interesting read, and great visionary ideas, though the people who will actually read it are not the audiance that should read it. I felt that it was a good book, excellent concepts but the only people who would actually read it are liberal nerds. I feel like such a book won't reach the vast majority of the consumer public unless there is a way that they are educated in a more masses friendly fashion. With today's society that will not be achieved by a book Oh well, still a good read.
I wish my Skinny Puppy cds would get here and I wish that I would have to stop dealing with old relationship guilt tripping that is now several degrees removed yet it is still getting back to me. Argh.
anyhoo over and out . . . i need to track down the freezer where I left my ice cream from Friday night today.
