Aaaaaaaaand, finally...
day thirty of the Thirty Days of Vancouver, BC Autumn
passage of a new season
(on film again.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a project I have had in mind for some time.
Repeated information in the spoiler:
SPOILERS! (Click to view)
Each new day will reward the viewer with a new photo; a new moment in the quick-changing world of autumn. It is my favourite season and an obvious choice as a beginning.
It is the start of my personal year; a true autumn baby.
Return to my journal once a day to see the new photo or follow my flickr stream (please see
previous journal entries for all the photos so far). I will do my best to post at similar times each day. I meant to post much earlier today but had other things to do. I am aiming for between 12-1pm PST / 3-4pm EST / 8-9pm BST each day, depending on distractions and unforeseen circumstances.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I hope you enjoy the once a day updates and for thirty days will be few words and mostly photos.
The photos will be a mix of many subject matters, so do not expect to only see scenic typical autumnal scenes. There will, of course, be some by that description.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At the end I hope to be able to offer a limited edition handmade book of all the prints, and also a less-expensive professionally produced photobook. Research is currently being undertaken to discover the best ways to offer this to my audience. More information will follow. For now, enjoy the photo(s) as they come.

So, this is the end etc.
Thank you so much to all of those who have followed my project so closely. Tomorrow I'll post a finale of all the photos from the project in sequence.
I hope to have the prototype books ready by my Birthday (27th November). Unfortunately, I don't think this means they will be ready to be delivered before the holidays. I'm sorry for that.
In answer to many requests I've had I'll also be offering individual prints. I've also been asked for price guides so that people can put money aside.
These are my estimates. They are subject to change, but hopefully won't be too different, but will depend on production costs, time and materials.
SPOILERS! (Click to view)
Individual prints (8x10/12x8 etc.): $50 incl. Shipping. There will be discounts for several purchases.
Professionally produced book: $60 + Shipping. (roughly 60+ pages)
Handmade book: $350 (these will all be personal, handmade by me, numbered and signed and the pages made with 30 real archival prints and high quality book paper and include 1 polaroid on the cover of each). These will be made to order and I will be taking deposits of $100 with the full amount to be paid when your book is ready. Payments can also be deferred until next year and paid in instalments to give as many people the opportunity to own one as possible. Deposits will only be taken until January 1st 2008.
Again, these are extremely rough prices. I am reluctant to post them but after about 15 messages asking so people can budget I figured it'd be a good idea.
I am so happy to see this project go down so well. I have had requests for a new "Thirty Days" each season. There is a strong possibility of this happening.
its been lovely to look at so well done.
hope your well in canada.
