This is a project I have had in mind for some time. Each new day will reward the viewer with a new photo; a new moment in the quick-changing world of autumn. It is my favourite season and an obvious choice as a beginning.
It is the start of my personal year; a true autumn baby.

Today it's raining; really heavily. That's a pretty typical Vancouver Autumn day. I'm not brave enough to go outside and photograph it yet. Right now I am enjoying being cozy with a cup of tea.
I had porridge for breakfast. I love it when the weather is cold and I can eat porridge. It's the small comforts. And yes, there is a difference between oatmeal and porridge and it took me four months to find porridge in Canada and not the sloppy excuse for breakfast that oatmeal is.
