Merry Christmas everyone, it has been a good day, I got to wake my kids up at the house and spend the morning with them, my son's present was the hit this year. Then I went and watched my eldest play a set at a local who were doing a meal for the homeless/ less well off / lonely or who ever walked in, had to turn down five offers of a meal and re-gift the present that they brought me (knew I should have shaved today :) then I got to see my daughter preform for the first time, the pride I felt was a great Christmas present , she was the best of the lot and that is not just Dad saying it, where did she get that voice from. It was also so nice to see a local tavern giving back so freely to the community (they are located in a working class neighborhood with a lot of low income families).
I then got to host a friend for Christmas dinner, she is having a hard time these days and it was nice to have the company and to be able to help fill her Christmas void.
