Trying to get use to working again after the third layoff , hard to fall asleep before midnight and getting up at 6 or 8 am. Working afternoon and night shift are taking their toil on me and it is getting harder to find the energy to hit the mat every day but after 430 days of daily yoga I will not stop. Fuck you...

Sorry you keep getting shuffled from active to laid off. In Indianapolis, it's been difficult as well. Some restaurants that gave been mainstays for years have had to close and will not reopen. Others have shifted to order kiosks and jobs are lost. Most that I know have shifted to warehouse work. Downtown is such an event driven area and with everyone working from home... I hope you get a more stable schedule, brother, and continue to work

@pointman11 thank you, I live in a government town and work in the downtown area surrounded by empty government building (most of them are working from home). The Pub relied on them and tourist for 90% of the walk in traffic. Thankfully the takeout business has picked up and slowly with the lifting of the lockdown things are picking up but 75% of the staff still are laid off for now.

Nice work! I do yoga every morning :), what does DDP stand for?
chef_me:
@annajune  Dallas Diamond Page ex wrestler mixed his rehab from broken back with yoga to create DDP-Yoga ( you engage your muscles as much as you can to raise your heart rate while  doing yoga poses ) , there are 3 , 5 & 10 second count push ups added to the mix so it is a great workout. I am turning 57 in November and I am in the best shape of my life (other then all the arthritis that is). Still try to do a little chill yoga when I can , love yoga with Adriene , she has some great relaxing videos on YouTube but DDP-Y is now my go to.

I am feeling very low energy all the time and very sad. this spring has just suck. It is always cold and usually raining, the region has had a lot of flooding and the water levels have only gone down a little. My place is freezing right now and the landlord turned the heat off months ago (thinking it was spring lol). My knees are...

Well it is getting better in general for me, still a little blue but the turn in the weather has help and a daily yoga practice has saved my life , I have only missed around 20 days in the past two years and am able to walk mostly pain free. Looks like I get to keep working for the next couple of years. Can't keep me down for ever lol

One of the biggest worries of my life is what will happen to my son when I die, he is 22 and very high on the autism spectrum , he will always be about 4 1/2 to 5 intellectually. My ex and I do the best we can for him but as we get older we are starting to worry about what will happen after...

I grew up with an uncle who has Down's. I have a serious affinity for the developmentally disabled. It's awesome that your daughter has his back. Have you ever checked out the show 'Atypical'? I loved it. Another thought I had, have you ever heard of Camphill Communities? I don't know where you're based out of, but they have these communities all over the world. They are private, so I'm pretty sure they cost a fair amount, but the villagers in these communities are all individuals with developmental disabilities. They're wonderful places! I was working at one for a while when I lived in Pennsylvania.
