Great post! As a historian in training it is a welcoming site to see the use of history to reflect on current themes of patriarchy and feminism. I would add that Catherine the Great of Russia was another female monarch who was one of the best sovereigns Russia has ever seen.

my beautiful long hair is now on the salon floor and is no longer red :-0 I was feeling the need for change. They say change is as good as a rest after all lol. Don't worry though friends - this face can rock shorter hair too! I'll put up some pictures later.
