Just finished reading Alan Moore and Jim Baikie's "Skizz" last night. It's the story of a wallaby-shaped alien landing in Birmingham, England and the teenaged girl who finds him. Sort of like ET, only actually funny and amusing and tense. Watching ET in fourth grade was the only time I dozed off in class during elementary school. Glad to see the lost-little-alien story can be redeemed. Of course, it is Alan Moore.
A couple of friend are going to Memphis to see Guided By Voices and My Morning Jacket (a kick-ass rock-a-roll band from Louisville). I guess it's a private party, 'cause I wasn't asked to go. I won't die if I don't see the show, but I still wouldn't mind, y'know?
At least it's Friday, which doesn't mean nearly as much to someone without a job, but there ya go.

h3athrow:
Rock on to the Alan Moore. His ABC comics (redundantly repetitive?) are among the better books out there these days.
