Well, I got my wish, I'm outta here !!!
And for the first time ever, I just might be all packed by nightfall.
My son and I are leaving in the morning to spend the rest of the summer with my mom, sister and extended family in New Hampshire. I'm already pretty sure that I don't want to come back, but I'll miss my unconditional lovers terribly, and my hubby a bit, if he's lucky...
His family is great, nearly all of them have migrated out this way, and they've claimed me as their own -- but I've been able to spend time with my relations only a few times in 6 years. We are a loud, chattering, down-home bunch -- Grampy calls us a "gaggle" -- hub's family is a bit more business like (in the nicest way possible).
I just really need the kinfolk right now.
I also plan to walk the Freedom Trail and take me first Duckboat ride.
Be sure to hydrate and wear your sunblock kids. Have a great summer !!
