Vegas is as Vegas does... Unless you loose a lot of $$$ you can't not have fun.
Stayed in TheHotel @ Mandalay for their reasonable mid-week rate (3 TV's and the biggest tub I've ever had the pleasure to soak & drink cocktails in. Figured that they didn't reissue the velour flip-flops provided and considered taking the robe too, but it wouldn't fit into my bag). Met up with my cuz for Jubilee Topless Extravaganza and had trouble keeping awake. At least 50 sets of natural boobs on stage at any given time, but sooo boring.
She lives in NH and hardly ever makes it out this way so I decided we'd do whatever she wanted. She doesn't drink or gamble much, so after the show we walked around aimlessly for a few hours just looking at stuff. I had to put my foot (butt and about half a dozen Guinness') down in the Irish Pub @ NY NY. I rufused to leave and she took off for the Prince tribute show. The band played a bunch of Pouges tunes and other standards, I was in my glory singing and dancing. Hung out with a lovely young couple from Ireland finishing up their 3 month honeymoon. They've been together 10 years but decided to get married when Ireland legalized divorce - how precious...
Switched to a cheap hotel for the weekend wasting like 3 hours moving and checking in.
Other highlights include winning $700 in Price Is Right nickel slots, totally jinxing the whole table after throwing craps down a 70 year old lady's cleavage (and they didn't even change out the dice), two (more) people telling my man that he looks just like Matthew Broderick and Sigma Derby - the best too drunk & too tired to sit up straight game ever.
