I was going to do an up post about the weekend - I had a great time in Cairns. Maybe tomorrow night I will write it.
I even had lunch with Aaronsrod today, so I should be feeling good.
Instead I feel so shit. I don't know what it is. I was downloading pics of Maxi today - lots of them. Then I stopped and...

I'm heading up to Cairns for a friend's 40th birthday party (yes, I have friends who are that old). Cheryl and I went up for the corresponding 30th and had one of the best weekends ever. The theme was childrens games - I went in scrubs and Cheryl borrowed a friends nurse's uniform. She looked so hot when she got dressed that we were late...

As too your message I will bring all the doc that you require to lunch with me next week, we may just be able to cove the costs of insurance if we sell another 40 tickets which we plan to do in two releases in June and again in August. As it is may company that is supplying the security I can give you a copy of our P/L and we can do up an contract that you think may be prudent. I will also send you a copy of the current SGAU Ball account if you send me your email to phil@pacgroup.com.au as it is in excel I can't send it via SG.
cheers and I wish I was going to Cairns with you, i used to work at the markets in Kuranda in fact the first time I went on a train was when I was 5 and it was up to Karanda via the Baron Gorge I loved the tunnels, I am sure Emily will remember this train trip for the rest of her life it had a huge impact on me as a kid, although I was a little older.

Life is quiet at the moment. Too quiet.
Visited Cheryl's grave on Sunday. The headstone is up, which looks very nice. Spent about half an hour talking and wiping mucus from my nose because I forgot to bring tissues.
I have been thinking about Cheryl a lot over the past week which is a by product of the quietude. I went to sort out her...

My third aniversary on the site today. Which is like 21 human years.
Time is so relative. So much has happened in 3 years that it feels like a decade. I remembered yesterday was 2 months since Cheryl went. It feels like forever since I touched her.
I have noticed that there are those events in life where history seems to be neatly divided and...

Great to see you 'round these parts again Mr CC...and love the George shot...have to admit I did a double take when I first saw it
. My mum founded the Brisvegas Montessori school in the '70s...there's a nice connection...

George is soooo Emo.
Nice Freudian slip on the "statinary supplier" - I get my Lipitor from a pharmacist. ha ha
Interesting comment on Phantasy's blog .... not sure if that is totally PC.
Montessori - is that the one where if you are bad, they dump a severed horses head onto your desk?

Thought I better use the work computer to do an update because apparently it will take another 2 weeks to put the new tower together.
I am going well at the moment. I am so busy with work that I don't get time to wallow. I find that when I am in the usual routine, it doesn't hit me until the time of the day...

I can't imagine how I would feel if I lost my man, or my parents, or little sister. Those people are just meant to be there forever. I've lost a lot of friends over the years, all suddenly and unexpectedly, and it's crazy to see that things go on. But there's a level of acceptance that's easier to get to when it's not in that close circle of people you believe will always be there. I hope that it keeps getting better for you. And I'm glad Emily's doing well.
Thanks so much for getting out and seeing my band's gig! I really appreciate it. Glad you liked it and thanks for the compliments!

Better than an orange shirt in a sea of OMO !
I had a bit of a relapse today. I thought I was getting on with life - looking after Emily, paying bills, going back to work. Then for some unknown reason, I have been emotionally labile all day. The rational part of my mind condemns me for being self indulgent and the irrational part makes me feel guilty for not missing her more.

Flog your boss until he/she gives you a laptop! Chrissakes

We had Cheryl's funeral today. It went off just as planned. Huge crowd spilling out the back of the church, the choir singing her favourites, no hitches. Thanks to Aaronsrod for his support also. Just wish Cheryl was here so she could tell me what she thought.

My thoughts go out to you and your little one, as through her, the Sun will be reflected with glorious warmth.

Sending you prayers of strength. Strength to endure this deepest of sorrows.
And prayers for your little one. To know that her mother's love looks over her and enfolds her always.
And sending prayers for Cheryl on her spirit journey.

Cheryl was admitted to palliative care at the Wesley today. She was going in for a regular chemo session but hte doctor said that she had deteriorated too much over the last 7 days to proceed. The palliative care doctor says Cheryl has 2-3 days if things progress as they have been to date or 7-10 days if she responds to a doubling of her...

My best wishes to the three of you.
As for Friday, we're on at 10:30pm and it's perfectly understandable that you might not get to see the earlier bands!! As long as there's some people there at the start to see Nucleus, I'll be happy.
See you then! Oh, and I ran into Aaden yesterday - he said he's really enjoying working there, so that's good to hear!
