I can't imagine how I would feel if I lost my man, or my parents, or little sister. Those people are just meant to be there forever. I've lost a lot of friends over the years, all suddenly and unexpectedly, and it's crazy to see that things go on. But there's a level of acceptance that's easier to get to when it's not in that close circle of people you believe will always be there. I hope that it keeps getting better for you. And I'm glad Emily's doing well.

Cheryl was admitted to palliative care at the Wesley today. She was going in for a regular chemo session but hte doctor said that she had deteriorated too much over the last 7 days to proceed.
