Why is Almond Joy more popular than Mounds?

I mean, i really receive no joy from the almond, and dark chocolate is a much better contrast to the oh-so-sweet coconut. So why is it that at Halloween time, you find big bags of Almond Joy, but no Mounds? And why the 2 names? Why not "Mounds Dark" and "Mounds Almond"? Grrr!
