On thanksgiving day Santa Claus came over to our house. It struck me as really odd. We hosted a late lunch turkey meal gathering at our house. I live with Brian, my boyfriend, and Tallulah our daughter at his mothers house. That's his mom, Grace, my not legal mother-in-law, in the pic with me. Grace's parents came down from 4 hours away from us in PA and slept over so they were already there. My nieces (for all intensive purposes) also slept over. We see them a lot I was close to my cousins and want Tallulah to have a similar relationship with hers. Savannah is 5 and a half and Katie is 3.
They were coloring with Lulu upstairs in our living room when Santa came to the door. Lulus in her standing frame doing some physical therapy ;) we assumed it was our final guests graces sister Sheila and her husband and kids. But no it was flippin Santa. Nobody I recognized. Real beard. Very polite. The kids didn't even cry which is surprising. He sat on the couch and talked to the kids for a little. Great poppop didn't have his shirt on. He said he parked the sleigh on the hospital helipad. He did a magic trick. He gave the girls Christmas dresses. Lulu's wearing hers in the picture with grace and I. I would have bought it for her myself it's so cute. Dark blue velvet. It's obviously her right size. He also brought the Charlie Brown Xmas book with a stuffed plush toy for each girl. Lulu got snoopy. Woodstock was the cutest <3 Then he left. He never said who sent him. Why had he come? How did he know all the girls were there? How much is it to rent Santa on a holiday? Real beard and all. Anyway we ended up getting like 30 wrapped gifts left on our front porch the whole week following. Ring the doorbell and leave quickly. Some days I was at work and Brian is never quick to answer the door. Pretty mind blowing. We are waiting until Christmas to open the surprise gifts.
Lulu got other gifts though in the mean time from her titi
She's making awesome progress developing too. She started kneeling on her own. And repeating new words. She works hard. Hell we all work hard.

I want to work a green ribbon into my next tattoo for her. Green ribbons show support for cerebral palsy.
So let's wrap this bitch up with photos. All clean bc this is a family blog ;)
