Its been ages since the last one, so its that time again. I apologise in advance if sentences dont make sense, im writing this on a particularly shitty laptop keyboard that really wants the keys to be mashed instead of my usual light-touch keyboard.
Things at mums have fallen into a bit of a boring routine, and frankly its something Im going to change. Ive... Read More
That's just martin. He comes in every few months, trolls around in the most racist way possible, gets pissy, then leaves. Eventually he will say something so outrageous that he gets permanently banned.
I am irate. I had a lovely big blog post here, but it refused to post. ><
Short quick retype: I moved to London today from Oxford, packing four years of my life into the back of one modest saloon car. I never realised I had so much crap, I threw out a good eight bags of rubbish and shit I never use from my... Read More

Dunno whether you can get the spring constants and stuff from those links, those would be the suspension of choice, however dont know much about the technical spec of bikes, well as yet anyway.....
I am broke. Hideously, inexorably broke. I put a bunch of stuff up on Amazon earlier today, and I'm probably going to put some up on Ebay too. If you feel like helping me out, take a look:
You are more entertaining when drunk . That is a perfect picture for your LinkedIn profile.
Vacuum tubes are used in a lot of high end (read VERY expensive) equipment geared towards audiophiles. Check out some of the magazines directed towards that market segment.
I must confess, as of this very moment, I am quite drunk.
1) DO not, under any circumstances, be as dumb as I have just been, and cycle home while intoxicated over any distance. I have the firm feeling that given a couple of hours, despite armoured gloves, that my left hand will be incapable of any movement because im a dumb bastard and cycled into... Read More
IOW festival was fun, and will be elaborated upon later.
Horrific news: the medical mitigating circumstances application was refused, and as far as the university is concerned I have automatically failed and kicked out. However, starting in a scant few hours I intend to drag the small mountain of paperwork acquired over the last couple of years through every appeal process the university has; and... Read More
This week ill be working at the Isle of Wight festival as a security steward/dogsbody, so I get a camping trip with my mates (who are working with the same company) plus moochos booze. Plus, the isle of wight has some of the clearest night skies in the country, so for astronomy Im like a pig in shit.
wow! you lucky bastard! you're gonna have a great time! i would suggest lots of toilet paper. maybe even some of those fruity moist toilet wipes. nothing worse than the final day of the festival and needing a crap. other than that, maybe take some snacks. as much fun as it is to live off burgers from the vans, it's probably not the healthiest thing ever. one dodgy burger ans that toilet roll comes in pretty damn handy! last time i did a big camping festival we bought those kelloggs variety packs of cereal. helped us out in times of need. plus we got a free kids t shirt in the box, which is obviously an added bonus. HAVE FUN!!!!
Well thats university finished with this year. All the paperwork for the medical resits in july is apparently going along as well as can be expected, and I get the result of that on exam results day. I think I should get them, but even if I dont theres always the university appeals process.
congratulations on finishing everything off at uni. fingers crossed for the results.
i feel your pain on the sun situation, although today has been ok. a recovery day if you will, except that it's meant to last all week. seeing as monday is a bank holiday, i'm sure it'll be raining then. can never get the weather how i like it! is it so hard to get warm and sunny but with a cooling breeze???
