Does anyone else have shitty neighbors or am I just destined to be picked on for the rest of my life? I thought I'd be okay once I was out of high school, but, no. It's a never ending cycle. I'm not sure what the deal is. Maybe I emit some kind of hormon that causes people to be aggressive toward me or something. Do I look suspicious? Do I look like I'm up to something I shouldn't be up to?
So, last night at around 10 o'clock, I was coming home from spending the weekend with my parents and I took my rabbits with me. My boyfriend was unloading them from the car when one of our neighbors from our complex walked over to us and started asking us questions. Then, he said, "Rabbits? You can't have animals in this building!!" and then he went on a rampage about it and how if he can't have a pet, no one can have a pet. First of all, there's a NO DOG rule in the complex, because dogs aren't really "condo-pets." Plus, the majority of residents here are pretty old and dogs tend to be loud and rambunctious. There is no, no-animals-in-general rule and I know at least half the people who live in the two buildings have cats. I've seen them sitting in the windows of a great deal of the units (bleh! "units" sounds so "1984") When I pointed that out to him he told me the property manager makes acceptions for some people... Not only that, but my boyfriend's mom OWNS this condo and lets us live here and most of the people in the complex own their units as well!! As long as the animals aren't causing a disturbance of any kind, there really isn't anyway for anyone to tell any of us we can't have small pets. After the man yelled at us for a while, he told us he didn't want to argue about it and walked away, but when we got to our floor, we saw him from the landing waiting to see which condo we went into. I don't know what he was expecting to do with that information, but we told him we weren't going inside until he was gone. He yelled at us some more and then stormed off into his unit on the first floor and slammed the door. We live on the thrid floor and we could still hear him yelling once he got inside.
I don't really have a point, but this sort of thing happens to me all the time and has ever since I was a little kid. The reason it pisses me off is I'm not a troublemaker!! I never have been! I'm not saying I'm an angel. I've always been pretty mischievous, but I don't go looking for trouble and usually when I get into trouble, I didn't realize I was doing anything wrong in the first place and I don't repeat the action. My boyfriend and I are private people. We're quiet and we mind our own buisness. I just don't understand why other people can't mind their's.
End of rant!

Good luck with your neighbors. Every condo complex has it's share of nut cases.
And about having bad neighbors nope, I do not have....but I have flatmates from hell.
Dirty (very very dirty), noisy, selfish, they don't speak english properly, and don't know how to do anything right...and the worse thing, I can't get out of the flat, because its a university flat and I signed a contract...
3 more months...3 more months...9 over... 3 months to go...patience.... no murdering required...
