Well, I've been shooting for GodsGirls for awhile now.
They are really nice - and they pay well, and don't ask for submissions on spec. It's cool. I'm pretty happy I never signed the SG photographer non-compete contact.

That's still lots of time. I guess it depends on what kind of wedding you are having. We planned ours in about 10 days I think, but it also took about an hour an cost maybe $500 including my dress. Haha.
