I am a foolish person. I managed to forget that Calixte had told me earlier that she was a tentative yes for when I got my cabin on the ship, and so with die_erlkonig and me I had had only one open spot left. So when two people asked me if they could come, I told them both yes. And then Calixte told me she was a for sure.
So now I get to tell this guy who I hardly know that he can't come because I am a ditz. I feel really bad
But there's no help for it, because I 
Calixte and die_erlkonig more than him, and the other guy (my second cousin Ed) asked me first.
Ah, well. I guess this'll just bring him into the "Carla is a silly goose who cannot keep her head on straight" mindframe earlier than most of the people I meet get into it. Sigh.
