What's your guilty pleasure?
The truth is... I'm obsessed with historical renaissance dramas.
Does anyone else love the Tudors, Reign, or Versailles? That's my shit.
Renaissance aesthetic is beautiful and extravagant, I love the art styles; also the royal families are so interesting, the murder, plotting, romance, they have it all.
I recently started Game of Thrones because everyone urged me that it's right up my alley whenever I mention it! And I do like is very much so far!
I hope to catch up by the new a new season is released!

Yeah I'm your medieval historical "huckleberry" *The etymology of the phrase is traced back to Aurthurian Lore. Huckleberry Garlands were said to be given to Knights of the Kingdom for coming to the service of a damsel. They would approach the lady, lower their lance, and receive the small branch as a symbol of gratitude; much like a medal. Therefore, "I'm Your Huckleberry" literally means "I'm your Hero." In current adaptations, in reference to the movie Tombstone, it means "I'm your man." as an affirmative response to a challenge* ...I dig all the shows you mentioned, and I can't wait for Monday night's premier of Halcyon - a new Brit docudrama/soap opera based in a wartime 1940s ritzy English hotel. Think Downton Abbey meets Mad Men.
