First, let's take a look at the Model Faq
5.2 HOW DO I GET PEOPLE TO NOTICE ME SO THAT THEY WILL COMMENT ON MY SET?
What you don't want to do is annoy members by spamming people via comments or messages, posting about your set in groups or threads that are not relevant, or being insincere just to try to get followers or likes.
All sets in MR are featured on the PHOTOS tab of the site for members to see, so people will not miss it, don't worry!
When your set is posted for review and members can comment on it, then you can post about it in your blog and in the SG Hopefuls group (look for the monthly thread). There are a few additional threads in other groups for promoting MR sets as well, but please only post about your set where it is allowed.
Posting about your set in other areas is considered spam. Sending private messages asking for people to check out your set or to follow you are also considered spam. Spamming is prohibited on SG, so please do not do these things!
With that being said, I can start my blog.
I'm getting a little frustrated with all the spamming here on Suicide Girls. Most because of the girls itself. They are so concerned about being noticed, and being present/online all the time, that they don't participate in here the way they should. They don't interact with the community.
I keep giving a lot of likes on everything that is featured on the front page, but if I don't have the time to read the posts, or don't have anyhing better to say, or even if I don't have the time to see a full new set, I simply don't comment at all. I think this way is more true than just a random "awesome, gorgeous, nice post, great blog, lovely, thanks for sharing"
For example: I've made a blogpost about my favourite playlist, that I've made it myself, with more that 960 songs and almost 37h of music. The title of the post was "the soundtrack of my life". It went to SG front page, and I got comments about Movie Soundtracks. So, did they read the blog? Of course not.
Another example: I made a thread on a group about shaved haired girls (I will write more about this in the future), and a made a whole list of amazing girls with their sets here (yes, I've searched the tag of shaved heads and, in more than 3k Suicide Girls, and I don't even know how many of Hopefuls are out there - I could only find 30 sets, and I came all the way to the first years of the site) and I was expecting people to interact, share their thoughts about it, or even point me any other girls that I was unaware of, anyways... did it happen? Of course not, there were like 4 people who actually interact, but also I got girls with a full head of hair spamming their sets on the thread.
Last example, from this monday: A girl made a thread asking about cosplay sets, what were the people's opnion about them, if they are going to be bought now there is too many of them and they are beginning to became "a thing". It got featured on front page as well. No one responded her (probably they have responded in the beginning of the thread, In fact I didn't read all the comments) and they started to spam all of their cosplay sets.
That is a thing that bothers me here and sometimes I just think about quitting. I will continue to write my blogs, bust mostly for me, because I do love to write. It helps me feeling better. But I won't expect any true comments anymore (This isn't intended to my few followers who reads and interacts, I know you feel the same way that I do about all the spamming here)
I get really sad that Suicide Girls is not what it used to be anymore. Let's remember that I'm here since 2006. This was supposed to be a fun community where we could met new friends and talk about the subjects that we love the most, to find people with the same interests, to connect with people, and just a way to be free.
Be well, my friends.
