My aunt Nola is passed away this today. We aren't blood, but she has always been like family. She is a Native American woman, who makes the greatest burritoes, and makes quilts that baffle the mind. She has some quilts hanging in the Colorado Museum of Natural History. She was retired and sewed a gorgeous quilt for my joke of a marriage. Its beautiful and I will try to get a pic to post soon.
She gave much love, asked for little in return, and added beauty to many people's lives. And she will leave a hole in the hearts of those who know her.
