Thanks for all the encouragement. The printers did not fuck things up like I thought they would. And now I'm spending my evening folding and stapling, folding and stapling, folding and stapling. Mindless grunt work for the mini-comic. Joy.

Hooray for folding and stapling!

My first mini-comic is off to the printer's. I have this feeling they are going to completely screw it up. I'm putting waaaay too much money into this book-- full color glossy cover. And they are going to screw it up.

I'm doing a small "limited edition" printing for the Isotope Award and to sell at our booth for the Dallas Comic Con Fan Day...

I want a copy. And I feel for you.... the printer sent me back practical photocopies of my work. But that was kind of the agreement, as our budget.... SUCKS. Eh... we do get paid a bit for it.

How are you? surreal

Believe it or not, I had to research the Dr.Phil TV show for a script I'm working on. I visited his website.

If you fit one of the below categories, you could be on the show! Dear god... kill me, now.

I just noticed... there are a lot of naked people on this site. I mean, a lot of naked people. All of sudden, I feel so very... clothed.

On the radio
This Wednesday's episode of Fanboy Radio features a roundtable discussion with my friends Roxanne Bielskis, creator of *Poverty*, and Jeff Elden and Matt Leong of Exit 126.

We pre-recorded the show last night. Our conversation focused on the "do-it-yourself" approach to comic books. I was the guest co-host. Topics wandered from such important issues as the marketing of smoking monkeys...

That's so cool. I've been on t.v. a couple times, but I've always wanted to be on the radio. It's like... way more glamourous I thin k. Just like the old times. Besides, you get to talk into that neato microphone and wear headphones. How cool is that?!

Congratulations! Co-hosting kicks ass! biggrin

Melissa brought her iMAC home from the studio. I've abandoned my PC. Apple will take a little getting used to. ("Where the hell is my right/left click?")
lx:
Oh no... I 'chose' PC.
fentopal:
It might take a little getting used to, but it's definitel worth it. I haven't had my mac for more than a month and my the quality of my work, not to mention the time it takes, is already improving.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
I'm on vacation.

Take it easy then!

I absolutely love your profile pic.

I've always wanted to be a cartoon character, it's my life-long dream.

That is all. I just wanted to share.

I've redesigned my website Antihero Comics. The new version will be online tomorrow night.

Slowly, but surely, good things are happening with my writing. I've got a booth for the January 3rd Dallas Comic Con.
