Body found near trash bin
The body of an unidentified woman was discovered Wednesday morning near a trash bin behind a business in DeKalb County, police said. The body was found about 9 a.m. in the 1600 block of LaVista Road, police said.
Authorities do not know how the woman died but are treating the death as a homicide.
yeah, that body was dumped down the road from my house! of course, these sorts of things do happen frequently, especially in bigger cities. however, no one ever realizes the significance of these crimes when it is further away from their own backyard.
the police haven't found the suspect yet. was it you?
or, could it be the guy who lives downstairs from me or maybe even the girl that lives two buildings down?
i'm not being paranoid, but it just goes to show that you never really know who you are dealing with....
I once went to high school with a guy who was put on death row just a few years ago.
his name was Ronald Bell. he was about a 6'4 african-american male that probably weighed about 215lbs. he was always smiling and he was always very friendly. i don't think he ever even got into much trouble. and, he was a preacher's son. he was active in church and he even volunteered. he wasn't the person that you would expect to do something like this:
so there I was right, at school, hanging out in between classes and I was chatting and laughing with Ronald in the hallway. I had known him for about 2 years. I would rather call him an acquaintance than a friend. i think at that moment there was even some blonde girl attached to his shoulder cause I thought it could be his girlfriend. but, little did I know that later that very same afternoon he would be arrested for murder.
on March 17, 2000 a jury found him guilty as charged on 2 counts: first degree murder and kidnapping for the death of Cordell Richards in February of 1999.
there were also five aggravating circumstances: 1.) the homocide was commited during a kidnapping, 2.) the homocide was commited to avoid arrest, 3.) the homocide was commited for pecuniary gain, 4.) the homocide was heinous, atrocious or cruel (yeah, he dragged the guy into the woods where he strapped him to a tree and beat the shit out of him. then, he set him on fire while he was still alive and left him there.), and 5.) the homocide was cold, calculated and premeditated.
by a vote of 12 to 0, the jury recommended the death penalty.
it's just all very weird when one minute you are cutting-up with someone and the next they are a convicted felon for some grim shit.
how many people have fucked up stories like that or something cause I'd like to hear it....???
