Went to the youth hostel down the street. Had a good chat with some scottish and irish blokes. Very open and honest. Really liked their value system (family, friends, enjoying life) over more north american beliefs (you need XX and YY to be happy. And once you havfe XX and YY, you need something else). I wonder if the fact that the UK has no commercials on the tele makes it a much better place
