yes, it does suck when you know the outcome of a situation, in hindsight, but for that temporary moment it's all pretty.
however, I think that people who are capable of seeing the bigger picture are far more at an advantage than ones who cannot, because they can choose to make the right decision regardless.
also, thanks for the invite to hear you play. if I am in town (cause I may be gone for my mom's birthday), then I will try and get over there to hear you.

the treatment center that i am in is an intensive residential program. we live in essentially half-way houses and pretty much are able to go about our lives pretty normally. the only difference is the level of accountability that we have to the other people here and the staff. we have several required meetings a week on top of going to 12 step meetings. i'm actually in the second phase of the program which is much more lenient than the initial 90 day program.
i can imagine it wasn't too much fun getting home at noon from NYE. done it several times. just ten years younger though, and that still sucks. any questions you have feel free to ask them. i'm pretty transparent when it comes to my program. i might not be able to answer them, but i can share what my experience has been.

I posted the invite to my New Years party here twice and then personlly invited around 15 or so people (maybe more). Not one single SG person showed up. Not.....one.
I posted it on myspace...and ended up meeting people that didn't know where they got the invitation. They just saw it reposted and came. Not one from here though.

well, i'm more hesitant and awkward now. i used to go out every weekend trolling for booty, walk up to guys and start a conversation, no worries. if someone flirted with me i was flirting right back.
i'm a lot heavier now due to the military years and this is part of what makes me hesitant, but mostly i'm just not into the groove anymore and have to get there again.
someone will flirt and then an hour later i'm going "damn! i should've said/done this!!" instead of being smoooooothh haha.
