Well, today is another sunny day in the rain-forest, although there will probably be rain this afternoon.
Some of the guys brought in some turtles and are cooking them up right now. They actually taste pretty good, its one of the few local food I actually like. They have this other thing called a 'bake' its basically a doughnut without the hole cut out. Those are good also, but not so healthy.
I got a big boost the other other day when the bosses decided to take my recommendations and we decided to buy 8 re-furbished 4x4 8000kg load capacity Army trucks to use for logistical support in the jungle here. I am totally stoked about that. What that means is I can supply all my camps with those trucks and still have one or two down for maintenance.
I am also looking for another Parrot to catch and bring home. I already have one and its starting to talk after a few months with us. I think it would like a buddy.
Its also Emancipation day here today in Guyana... yahoo.. 176 years since the end of slavery here.![smile](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/emoticons/smile.0d0a8d99a741.gif)
