Even though it's Facebook, or even Myspace, enticing your family to send these app requests to you, you can still say 'No!' to them even in this holiday season where you will likely be face-to-face with them;
when confronted, claim: I am just so dumb when it comes to Facebook. I mostly just logon to my Googles every day to check my emails. What are requests? Sounds hard.
Your family won't look over at you anymore with feelings of rejection, they will instead fill with scorn and look at you as a technological pariah and will finally stop asking you to fix their computer (second win!).

I am glad no one of my family is on facebook and I decline all gift requests or gaming invitations. they annoy the hell out of me.
