Okay Gossip time.
Company Christmas Party. Normally a pretty dull occurrence. Well this year it was different. Until this year the average age of the company was probably 40+ and this past year we had an insurgence of young people (age 19-25). So this time when we had booze flowing it was a much more interesting time then I think anyone was expecting.
I have a couple of new friends in this group. Sue who is like my new lesbian best friend, I have been taking lunch with her for the past few weeks, and she in a kindred spirit, and even has the same taste in women as I do. Then there is Laura who I am in the process of getting know better, but she and Sue are like best buddies. And there is Annie (who has been my work crush for a while now).
So those are the new players in the game recently. We all get to the company party, and the booze is free flowing. They were selling drink tickets, but other people brought their own booze and there was lots of under the table drinks being mixed. So what comes out in the course of the evening is Annie likes Sue, Laura like Annie, my other half like Laura, I wound up stealing a kiss Laura at one point. But there was much girl on girl kissing and such, as the party went on. I don't know how much the conservative older company saw, but that will all come out on Monday.
I also know that one of the neighbors complained about the noise, and one of the drivers for the company got into an altercation with him and the neighbor was shoved to the ground... so there will be hell to pay for that on Monday.
So now I guess the only question is with Annie liking Laura, but my other half and myself, being captivated by her as well, I don't want to be competitive with a friend about being attracted to another friend... but I think that might be where all the dice fall.

Oh how I love the scandal that comes out of office parties. One reason I was happy to leave my old job as much of the scandal often involved myself....including one time calling one of our most important clients an adulturous bastard...oops! Didn't get fired though!
