Does anyone have an experience with going to therapy? I've been thinking about it for awhile now. I've got some things I need to deal with, but everyone I've known that has had counseling ended up on drugs. I'm really against that for me. I know it's not a necessity for therapy, but like I said... I don't know anyone that's had it that didn't start taking prescription drugs.
So, if anyone has advice or could point me to a book or website with some information I'd appreciate it.
In other news: It's too damned hot today. When does autumn get here?

The rest of my friends who have been in therapy (most of them), highly recommend it and have almost convinced me to give it a second chance. A good therapist will listen to your concerns and not pressure you to take meds. A good therapist will also have an IQ greater than that of the average potato.
