The chops are gone. I had to shave them in order to apply to substitute teach for the Lewiston School Department. I'm actually pretty happy with the results. They were fun and all, but they were also really getting out of hand.
I may have secured a job with ACT (America Coming Together), one of the much reviled 527 groups, working to organize voters. I'm not a die-hard Kerry supporter or even a Democrat (proud, registered independent, thank you). Its more of an alliance of convenience for me, i.e. I need the money and dislike Bush, and they need someone who can talk politics without sounding like a whiney tree hugger. Plus, its phase one of my master plan.
