My sister and I went down to Lisbon Falls this afternoon, and paid a visit to "Col. Moxie" at the Moxie store. I don't know his real name, but that man is a living land mark, about as Maine as you can get.
Kate asked the Colonel if he too plastic or checks. He shook his head, straightened his thick, black glasses, rubbed his fingers together in the international sign or 'gimme cash' and said "No Suh, only the haaaad stuff." in his thick, Downeast accent. My God, Col. Moxie rules.
After getting a case of moxie, I continued down to the flea market in Brunswick and began vinyl hunting. I picked up the The Rolling Stones - Story of the Stones, Billy Idol - Charmed Life and Whiplash Smile,
and a Bond theme collection for $14. Now it's off to a party at my sisters.

Ps: Colonel Moxie might be the best name ever.
PPS: If you haven't heard them, Blown Casket = great old time rockabilly mixed with a little psycho. Great shit.
