I went down to Portland this morning, stopped by Newbury Comics and picked up Deadbolt's newesyt album, "Hobo Babylon", and the Darkness's "Permission to Land". Oh my god, I cannot believe how Awe(Full)some the Darkness are. As I was driving down Main Street on my way back through Lewiston, Get Your Hands Off Of My Woman was blaring on my stereo. I was singing along in a fake falsetto, throwing the goat whenever guys who look like they belonged in the band walked by (for some reason temporal refugees from 1986 make up a substantial voting bloc in the Lewiston-Auburn area.) Two guys threw the goat back, others just looked confused and pissy.
I ran into a few of the former Old Port skins while I was in Target of all places. And they weren't together either; We just sort of intersected at the right time. There was this moment of awkward silence where we all just kind of smirked and nodded, as if to say "Dude, we're in Target. What the fuck happened?"
